ECOGAIN BIODIVERSITY INDEX

Take me to the English page

The Ecogain Biodiversity Index (EBI) examines how large companies report on biodiversity in their sustainability reports; how they identify, set targets, implement actions and monitor biodiversity. The main objective of the EBI is to provide an overview of how companies are performing in terms of setting targets and reducing impacts on biodiversity, and to inspire companies to act and report on the topic in a transparent way.

The Ecogain Biodiversity Index (EBI): USA 2022 is the fifth edition of the review. In 2022, the EBI included the 300 largest companies in Europe and, for the first time, the 100 largest publicly traded companies in the United States. The report presents the performance of individual companies and sectors, as well as comparisons between the US and European markets as a whole.

HOW DOES YOUR ORGANIZATION WORK ON BIODIVERSITY?

We offer individual counseling where we together review your results based on the EBI and look at what development opportunities exist. If your organization is not included in the EBI edition, we also offer independent analyses based on the same assessment model as a first step in your work going forward.
